Too naughty for ff.net... apparently
May. 29th, 2012 09:03 pmI just got an email from the Admin at ff.net informing me one of my fics had been pulled and my posting privlages have been suspended. The reason is that the fic summary contained the word bitch; I didn't know it was such an offending word. And I was not using it offensively. I used it because the fic was set in the Veronica Mars episode "The bitch is back". The fic was rated K.
It is perfectly in their right to take down the fic I suppose. I'm just wondering why now instead of when I posted it last fall.
I would love to be able to fix the problem and repost it, but unfortunately I deleted it ages ago.
Oh well.
I just hope that my posting access isn't revoked for too long; I have readers awaiting updates on my WIPs. I'd hate for them to think I've abandoned my stories.
